Xeomin’s distinguishing feature is what has been taken out of it. The formulation is purified so that the accessory proteins present in the alternatives are removed. For most patients that makes no practical difference, and it is worth saying so plainly.
Where it is specifically requested is among patients who have been treated repeatedly over many years and want a protein-free option. That is a legitimate preference and it is accommodated without overstating the clinical case for it.

That is a conversation to have at assessment rather than an assumption. Apparent loss of effect has several possible explanations, and they need working through before changing product.
Dose is decided from your assessment. Unit counts do not transfer between brands, so a number from a previous different-brand treatment is not a useful guide.
Typically three to seven days, with the settled result at around two weeks, which is when a review is offered.
