Rosacea: DR.Anita

Rejuvenate your skin and reclaim your youth through minimally invasive injectable treatments

What is Rosacea?

Rosacea (Acne Rosacea) is a chronic and complex form of Acne and redness with likely hereditary components. Most prevalent in Anglo Saxon person, it is often likened to the Irishman who has a red nose and always look intoxicated but is not. Therefore, alcohol was long thought to be the cause of rosacea but it is only one of the triggers that exacerbate the condition.

The most famous people with this condition were JP Morgan and Jimmy Durante. They both had the most severe form called Rhynophyma which appears a bulbous red nose, mostly in males. Rosacea is not Acne per se as it may present only as sensitive red skin with broken capillaries.
